Well, I think this game shows that the 7-0 loss the Redhawks endured last
saturday night was a bit of a fluke.. and the 1-1 game the night before
was a true representation of both of these clubs. This game was much
closer than those of last weekend.. games in which MSU looked clearly like
the better team. Now, with this scoreless draw and a very well played game
by both sides, it's easy to say that these teams, when both are on their
game, are evenly matched.
The redhawks have used the trap in all of their games against MSU so far,
and it has payed off in two games, with MU just falling short of a win
each time. If there was a game that the redhawks played well enough in to
win, it was this one. The 1-1 tie last friday was much more losided than
the score suggests (you can thank Trevor Prior for that)
