UNH won a thriller last night at the Whittimore Center. UNH got the
early lead only to find themselves trailing 3-2 at the end of the first.

The second period was all Providence. PC split UNH's defense and if they
had just had better puck handling, they would have score more. Of course
a certain goaltender by the name of Sean Matile helped out a lot too.
UNH let up just one goal in the second to find themselves down 4-2.

Early in the third period UNH Dumont was injured, helped off the ice and
taken to the hospital...After only 9 minutes into the third period, UNH
had notched 5 unanswered goals. PC came back with one more, only to have
UNH score two more to make the final 9-5.

PC's Goaltender Kane was impressive the first two periods. AFter that,
UNH just opened fire...

UNH Senior Eric Boguniecki scored the hattrick.

Sean Matile, though he let in 5 goals looked solid...

Some of the worst officiating I've seen in a while. Fitzgerald amazed me
with his blindness. I think he was watching something happen and
thinking about at what point he was going to make it up to the other
team. All he called last night were make-up calls...

UNH improves to 24-6 overall with the win...

With North Dakota's loss last night, look for UNH to do some jumping in
the polls...

Marcus
