Technically, yes you could go to college at a later date.  While they could
technically go to college, they would not be eligible to play hockey in
college as far as the NCAA is concerned once you play Major Junior, you
forfeit your college eligibility.  There is some talk of relaxing those
stipulations, but nothing has been decided upon yet.
