Good day! Please excuse cross-postings.

If your library is involved in major fundraising (e.g. capital, ongoing operational, etc.), you might find this virtual conference of interest. There are several sessions running throughout the day from 11 m - 5 pm ET.

Session Schedule:

11-12pm ET

Dr. Adrian Sargeant, Institute for Sustainable Philanthropy
Organizations continue to lose 50% of their newly acquired donors in the first year of their relationship. Why is this and what are the factors that drive subsequent loyalty and retention? This session will explore the latest research on loyalty, the role of satisfaction, commitment, trust and just how predictive these are of subsequent behavior.

12-1pm ET

Brady Josephson, NextAfter Institute for Online Fundraising
Year-end is the busiest giving season of the year - and fundraisers and marketers have to keep delivering results. Nonprofits often fight to get donors attention and communicate what sets them apart from others. This session will explore data-driven ideas to help you cut through the year-end noise to send appeals at the right time, boost online revenue, and create donation pages that match your donors' motivations.

1-2pm ET
How to Amplify Your Fundraising Efforts Using Facebook
Jennifer Ybarra, Facebook Social Good
This session will cover all the fundraising tools available on Facebook, step-by-step how to use them and how to successfully weave Facebook into your end of year fundraising efforts.

7 Years of GivingTuesday: Changing Giving Cultures Around the World, and Lessons for your Organization
Jamie McDonald, GivingTuesday

3-4pm ET
Your Fundraising Team: Creating a Culture of Resilience Throughout Year-End
Beth Kanter, Master Trainer, Speaker, and Author
Year-end fundraising is crunch time for you and your fundraising team. It doesn't have to be so stressful it leads to workplace burnout and missing your goals. Fundraising teams can create a culture of resilience by establishing a sense of community, social connections, a collegial environment, a reasonable workload, a sense of purpose and a healthy life-work balance. This session will provide practical tips for activating a culture of resilience and wellbeing.

4-5pm ET
Last-Minute Touches: Preparing Your Website for Year-End Fundraising
Rachel Clemens, Mighty Citizen
A growing number of donors are giving online, but there's a good chance your website is giving them reasons to reconsider. Is your donation form optimized, making it easy to move through the donation process? In this session, we'll explore how to get your nonprofit website in tip-top shape for end-of-year fundraising. We'll discuss content, user flow, donation thank you pages and everything in between.
