The *University of Maine Upward Bound Math Science (UBMS) Program* is
hiring *academic and residential life staff* for our summer program (*June
12 - July 27, 2017*).
UBMS is a federal Department of Education Program and serves *first-generation,
low-income high school students* interested in STEM career fields and
college majors. Students spend 6 weeks on the UMaine campus taking classes,
doing a group aquaculture investigation, and performing individual
research/exploration projects.
We are hiring: Group Project Facilitators; Individual Research Project
Mentors; an Individual Project Coordinator; STEM Elective Instructors;
Algebra II, PreCalculus, and Calculus Instructors; an SAT Preparatory
Mathematics Instructor; a Methods and Nature of Scientific Inquiry
Instructor; and Residence Life Counselors!
