Boston College just defeated Northeastern in a home Sunday afternoon game,
4-1.  The Eagles' Michael Spalla scored on a long shot to break a 1-1 tie
just into a power play with a couple of minutes left, and then Marc Beran
added two empty-netters for the 4-1 final.  BC takes three of the four
points on the weekend series although it could have just as easily gone the
other way, since Spalla also scored to tie Friday's game with 3 seconds
left and get the Eagles a 2-2 tie.
