The University of Alaska at Fairbanks beat Ferris State to edge out
Ferris and gain the 8th spot in the CCHA playoffs. Jeff Trembecky scored
the winning tally (his 24th) with about 8 minutes to go in the third
period.  This was an intense, defensive game with excellent performances
by both teams.  The 3,300 plus at the Carlson Center in Fairbanks roared
their approved from the opening whistle to the final buzzer.
