I guess Keith must be wondering if his post of the press release got
read or if it vanished into thin air! :-) On 5/12/94 he posted:

>CCHA PRESS RELEASE
>
>For immediate release--May 12, 1994
>
>UNIVERSITY OF ALASKA FAIRBANKS ADMITTED AS FULL MEMBER INTO CCHA
...
>The 1996 CCHA playoff format will have the top four regular season
>teams hosting the fifth through eighth place teams, in the CCHA
>quarter-finals. This format was approved by CCHA Council today.

Gotta give the edge to Keith and HOCKEY-L here. :-)
