Gleaned from the Arizona Daily Star, January 3, 1994:
National Collegiate Club Hockey Championship Tournament invitations have been
extended to the following club teams:
Ohio University
University of Arizona
Penn State University
North Dakota State University
Eastern Michigan University
Iowa State University (host)
University of Michigan-Dearborn
University of Illinois
This year's tournament is being held in Ames, Iowa, from March 3-5.
Arizona Trivial Tidbits: The IceCats received their 12th consecutive invite
to the National Tournament....Arizona won the title in 1985 and have been
runner-up 4 times...They are 4-2 in competition against this year's invitees...
IceCats (19-2) hope to end the regular season with a strong finish to gain a
good seeding in the tournament.
Notes: As far as I know, Dennis Hands is still recovering from a leg injury
suffered in a game against Michigan-Dearborn. Senior Andy Ashare has performed
well in the net in Dennis' place. Standout defenseman and 4th leading team
scorer Jeremy Goltz is out for the season due to a knee injury suffered in a
game last weekend against Arizona State. Needless to say, this is a big loss
for the team. After playing Depaul this weekend, Arizona travels to Colorado
to take on Colorado and Colorado State next weekend...

Here's hoping that RPI will salvage their weekend tomorrow night!
