Dave Fischer (Michigan Tech's Sports Information Director) was
just being interviewed on WMPL-FM (the station which broadcasts
MTU hockey games), and announced the "4th team" for the
next 2 Great Lakes Invitational tournaments. (GLI has 3
"fixed" teams: Michigan State, and hosts Michigan Tech and
the University of Michigan. The fourth "invited" team changes
each year.)
For 2000, the invited team will be Boston College; for
2001, it will be North Dakota. For 2002, New Hampshire
is the current front-runner, but it's not yet a "done deal".
Garrett Lanzy, MTU '84 (Go Huskies!)
