If I remember correctly, LaRue played in an exhibition game back in
December against the Swedish National team. He didn't fare too badly.
By the way, LaRue, who walked on in mid-season (after Willy Marvin bailed
out) is also lettering in football and baseball. According to MSC, the
last Gopher to letter in 3 sports was Bart Buetow.
