We had someone familiar with valuable books go through our book donations
before our book sale and we have identified some very special books. In the
past we have sold through online services, but we have a handful that we
are considering putting up for auction after we do a little research with
the local historical society. How do other libraries handle very rare or
valuable books? Can you point us in the direction of someone who might be
helpful in determining the rarity/value of some materials? Thank you!
