Well I just happened to be listening to WZON at the right time TWICE today.

Colin Shields was on with Dan Hannigan this afternoon and here is a brief recap of what was discussed:

-UNH win second night was big to take the season series and give them some confidence after the loss on Saturday
-He doesn't know if that one he shot and hit the "crossbar" in OT went in or not. Apparantly there has been some discussion about it having gone in and out quickly.
-THe atmosphere was familiar "I said to Reimann as we were standing on the blueline during introductions that 'it feels like we are in Minnesota' " and because of that past experience it makes them a little calmer during those times when there is a
crowd biased against them.

-Interesting note that Reimann was on with Hannigan last week, and scored, so look for Colin to score this week.

-He's not at all worried about not scoring since his return. He knows he can score, had some unlucky bounces and some great goaltending to deal with last weekend. He says he's not losing any confidence because, "I can score on Howard in practice
and he's the best in the league, so I am not too worried."

-Also funny that he answered, "What is there about BC that worries you." with "Uh, not anything that really worries us about BC."

-And finally, he mentioned that they have to help out Jimmy or Frankie or "whoever plays" , in order to be successful. In other words , no help from him on who might be playing in goal this weekend.

-Also its good to hear that his dad will be in town for this weekend's games.
