I don't see a problem with this. After all, Walsh himself apologized on tv
for the game being boring and said they had to play the trap to have a
chance. Your issue might be with him since I suspect he said similar
things in the postgame press conference as well.
Dave is just reporting what happened. I watched the game myself and it was
not one of the more exciting games I have seen until the third period --
and the vast majority of good chances were certainly BC's.
