If you are going to ALA Annual and would like to share and/or learn more about digital privacy, security and provide feedback on training modules being developed for public libraries.
I have worked with Mega on another project with ALA.

[Only 10 spaces remain! Posting at the request of researchers from the University of Maryland, who have done work with COSLA previously.
Fill out the form to register.
See email addresses below if you have questions.

Mega Subramaniam and Jessica Vitak are from the University of Maryland, and are running two design sessions for public library staff at the ALA Annual Conference, on Saturday, June 22 from 8.30 am-10 am and Sunday, June 24 from 8.30 am-10 am at the Washington Convention Center.
The goal of this session is to get feedback from library staff on the development of training modules and other resources for helping patrons develop digital privacy and security skills, and assisting patrons with information requests that involve sensitive information.

Come and share your experiences, lessons learned, and branch practices, and receive a $15 Amazon gift card in thanks. Signup is required - please complete this form: https://forms.gle/xFiQbqRWbpPWXTuAA
Limited space is available - please sign-up at your earliest convenience. You only need to attend ONE session.
