The calling issues were the result of a fiber outage within one of our
phone service provider’s networks causing routing issues for them.  At this
time the routing issues have been resolved and all phone services are
believed restored to normal operation.  We are awaiting additional updates
from the provider, and if any additional issues are identified or expected
further updates will be provided.  If you are still experiencing any
calling issues at this time please notify Networkmaine.

We have been made aware of some sporadic but widespread inbound calling
issues affecting University phone numbers.  Troubleshooting with the phone
service vendors is currently in progress, and no more specific scope of the
problem or timeframe for resolution is currently known.  More information
will be provided as it becomes available.
