I have been off the list since the Phinal Phour, but I got  back on today
in need of some help.
 
I need two files both of which most of you can remember. I hope some of you
have saved them. I though I had logged them in a notebook, but they have
gone missing. And I do need them as sources for the paper I am writing (on
various features of Hockey-L) for presentation a couple of weeks from now.
 
In spite of Wayne's good offices, and advice from others on and off the list,
I cannot seem to get our system (at USC-Columbia) to help me retrieve posts
from the Hockey-L archives. I though an open appeal would go quicker, since
these two posts are memorable:
 
#1  Ten Top Reasons for women to play hockey --this has been bouncing around
    on several lists, hasn't it?
 
#2  The newspaper story about the ghost of Hobey Baker strolling the lounge
    of the hotel at the site of the Phinal Phour. (Posted twice this season
    and once last season)
 
I know it is not news that I make this request, and I apologize if this is
deemed a misuse of the list. But it's for a scholarly purpose. Please
reply off the list, I hope, with the forwarded files.
