Last night the Division III UW-Stevens Point Pointers defeated the UW-Superior
Yellowjackets in a fine 2-1 game. In the second period we had an unusual
situation develop. We received a 5 minute major for fighting while the other
player got a double minor for roughing. That led to 4 minutes of 4 on 4
followed by a 1 minute PP for Superior.

Now, if Point had scored during the 4 on 4, would that have wiped out one of
the minors allowing Superior to skate 5 on 4? It may be a dumb question, but
I had never seen a major paired with a minor before and wondered if that made
a difference.
