This is not a hockey first. The shootout has been used in the Nissan/Jeep
tournatment in Alaska and I have had the pleasure of watching it in use
twice. It is VERY exciting. Although according to NCAA both teams get ties
its a fun way to decide a game when your in a time scrunch.
