 Minnesota-Duluth center Derek Plante, who scored three goals and had three
 assists in a sweep of North Dakota, was named WCHA Player of the Week.
 
 The senior from Cloquet, Minn., scored a shorthanded goal and had two assists
 in Friday's 5-2 victory and had two goals -- including another shorthanded one
 -- and two assists in Saturday's 6-5 victory.
