Believe me, no one is as surprised as I am at the standings.  I actually
checked my scoring spreadsheet three or four times trying to find any
mistake which would explain it.  I suspect this coming week will
demonstrate that there's nothing untoward going on, as I'm due for a
tumble.  I picked RPI to win the ECAC, so I'll certainly get pounded there...

Higher Seed would be the team that was seeded higher within each
conference's tournament, so it would come down to conference record and
whatever tiebreakers they use.  So in the WCHA, for example, St. Cloud was
seeded #1 and is picked to win the final over #2 Minnesota, even though
probably every rating system and poll in the world would have Minnesota
ranked higher.
