Here is a reply to two hockey-L questions posed this morning.
 
Kevin's question:  What % of Div. I basketball teams make the
		   tournament?
 
	answer:    64/300 = 21.33%
		   For hockey the % is 12/45 = 26.66%.
 
 
Ryan's question:   Was there a fatality in a high school hockey game
		   in Wisc in the past few years?
 
	answer:    Unfortunately the answer is yes.  I believe it was
		   in 1990.  I don't remember the young man's name or school
		   but I do know it was against a Madison area high school,
		   Middleton H.S.
		   A Middleton player took a slapshot and an opponent
		   slid to try and block the shot.  Apparently his shoulder
		   pads/chest protector slid up and the puck hit his chest
		   above the heart causing the heart to stop.  Sad but true.
