Ok, UMinn is 3-2, beat UMass-Amherst 1-0, but earned 343 pts for a #6
ranking.

UMass-Amherst is 4-2, lost to UMinn, but also lost to UConn (Atlantic
Hockey!) 3-2, and earned 2 pts for a #26 ranking.

UConn is 1-1, beat UMass-Amherst by the same margin as did UMinn, but
earned 0 pts to remain unranked. So, what's up with that?

I don't think one person sliding a 15th-place vote to Robert Morris
really has any effect on the credibility of the USCHO poll.

Early-season polls, in any sport, always have some real howlers at the
top and bottom ends. Teams who shouldn't be getting first-place votes
get them, and teams who shouldn't be there are getting last-place votes.

I nominate Robert Morris for this year's Ceramic Dalmation.
