The banquet and award ceremony was held this afternoon at the wyndham
hotel in Colorado Springs.

The first coach, Vic Heyliger, did not attend.
The other two former coaches, John Matchefts and Chuck Delich were there.
Head Coach Frank Serratore was a bit late, having arrived back in
     Colorado (from watching his sons compete in a tournament) after
     midnight, and neglecting to set his clock ahead.

Booster Club Offensive Player of the year to senior Shane Saum
Booster Club Defensive Player of the year to sophmore Brooks Turnquist
Team Grade Point Average over 2.9
College Hockey America Scholar Athlete of the Year and recipient of
        the Jim Bowman Scholar Athlete award was presented by "Bo" to
        senior Goaltender Mike Polidor who achieved a 3.89 GPA in
        Astronautical Engineering.
Most Improved Player (voted by the team) went to Sophmore Mike Knaeble
The John Matchefts Award (freshman of the year) was presented by
    Matchefts to freshman defender Brian Gineo
The Larry Cronk Award (voted by the team) for most inspirational
    was presented by Cronk to senior Shane Saum
The Defensive player of the year went to Junior Steven Mead
The Chuck Delich Most Valuable Player Award was presented by Delich to
    senior SApanky Leonard
The Vic Heyliger Award (voted by the team) went to Shane Saum. The
    award is the cornerstone of Air Force Hockey. It is awarded to the
    player whopse dedication, character, leadership, and work ethic
    exemplifies Falcon Hockey.
The Hitter of the year went to Junior Josh Priewe

Finally, Next Year's captains will be
         Senior Steve Mead
         Junior Brooks Turnquist
         Junior Matt Bader

Seniors Buck Kozlowski, Adam Larson, Spanky Leonard, Mike Polidor,
        Shane Saum, and Spanky Leonard weach said a few words.
