My company recently held a silent bid auction to raise money for the United
Way. I was the highest bidder on a U of Minnesota hockey stick, labeled 2002
National Champions, and signed by all of the players on the 2002 team. My
winning bid was $140. The person that donated it said she was expecting it to
go for much higher. Not that I want to sell it, but I may have to check e-bay
for similar items to see if I got a deal or not!
