Another great game for two WCHA teams in Denver!

Gophers couldn't quite catch the Pioneers in the third,
and thus split the series.

Gopher goals were by Koalska, Potulny and Riddle.  Senior
captain Johnny Pohl got an assist on Riddle's shorthanded
goal in the third, and becomes a member of the 150 point
club for the Gophers.

Gophers take two weeks off starting today for finals.
Informal captains practices until Christmas and then back
to the regular schedule as they prepare for the Mariucci
Classic and Ferris State on December 28th.
