in the always rugged WCHA.

HEAD COACH: SCSU coach Craig Dahl (Pacific Lutheran, 1976) in his 14th
season as head coach for the Huskies. He is the only coach that SCSU has
had since moving to the NCAA Division I level in 1987-88. Dahl has a career
record of 252-242-38 at SCSU and a 20-year career coaching mark of
328-329-40. Of note, Dahl won his 250th game at SCSU on Feb. 9, 2001 with a
2-0 win at Alaska-Anchorage...Dahl won his 300th career game on 2/19/00. In
1997-98, Dahl was named the WCHA Coach of the Year. He has won more games
than any SCSU hockey coach. In 2000-01, Dahl will be assisted by Doc
DelCastillo (SCSU, 1992) in his third season and first year coach Brad
Willner (Lake Superior State, 1995).

ALL-TIME RECORD: The Huskies and Coach Dahl both own a 252-242-38 record
since the program went Division I in 1987-88. This is the first season that
the Huskies have gone above .500 with their overall record since going
Division I...The Ferris State game on Oct. 13th was the 500th Division I
hockey game in the history of the program at SCSU. The game was also Dahlıs
500th as a coach at SCSU.

HUSKY BITS: SCSU allowed a season low three shots on goal during the first
period of the game on Feb. 17, at UW...a total of five SCSU players has
multiple point games vs. UW on Feb. 17. Tyler Arnason and Keith Anderson
each had two goals, while Brandon Sampair had two assists. Ryan Malone and
Jon Cullen each added three assists. Arnason has scored two goals in a game
three times this season. Sampair and Arnason each lead the team with 12
multiple point games this season...Mark Hartigan and Arnason each lead the
club with four GWG apiece this season...On Jan. 19, SCSU hit a season-high
and national high with four pp goals...SCSU was named the USATODAY.com
national team of the week on Jan. 18. SCSU received its highest national
ranking since going Division I in 1987-88 with a #3/4 ranking in both the
USCHO and USA TODAY/ American Hockey Magazine polls on Jan. 22...in its last
eight games, the Huskies have played the nationıs #3 (UND), #6 (CC) and #10
(UW) teams. SCSU will finish with games against Mankato (received votes in
last national poll) and #4 Minnesota.

A NEW TEAM RECORD: The Huskies hit a new team record on Jan. 20 by winning
their ninth consecutive game on Jan. 20. The previous best was seven
consecutive wins set last year from Jan. 14-Feb. 4. SCSU set a team record
with a 10-game unbeaten streak last year that included two ties during that
stretch.

THE NEWEST MEMBERS: Tyler Arnason and Brandon Sampair are now both members
of the 100 point club. On Jan. 12, Arnason scored a goal and an assist,
while Sampair had a goal and two assists. Aranson (53g/64a) and has 20g/17a
this season... Brandon Sampair (45g/71a). He has 8g/29a this season.
Sampair and Arnason are the 24rd and 25th players in team history (all
Divisions) to reach the 100-point level in their careers...of note, Arnason
is the 7th player in SCSU history to score 50 or more goals in his career.
Arnason ranks 12th on the all-time scoring list and Sampair is 13th at
SCSU...here are some other interesting facts about the pair: Arnason became
the 13th player in team history to score 20-or- more goals in a season with
his pair vs. UW on Feb. 17...Sampair needs one more assist to become only
the 6th player in team history to score 30-or-more assists in a season. He
only needs four more assists to tie the team record of 33 assists in a
season set by Jeff Saterdalen in 1989-90.

DAHL GAINS 250th WIN: SCSU coach Craig Dahl gained his 250th career win at
SCSU with the Huskiesı 2-0 victory at UAA on Feb. 9. His 14 year record in
St. Cloud now stands at 252-242-38.

EQUALS THE RECORD: SCSU has already equalled its record for most wins in a
season (since going Div. I) with 23 in 2000-01. The Huskies (23-8-1 overall
in 2000-01) need one more win to hit a program high for most wins in a
season. The previous team-highs were 23 wins in 1999-00 (23-14-3) and
1996-97 (23-13-4). As a Division III program, SCSU collected a 25-10-1
record in 1986-87 under the leadership of coach Herb Brooks. SCSU also
charted a 25-2 record in 1934-35. This marks the fifth season since going
Division I that the Huskies have won 20 or more games.
