According to the TV it was
Colorado College 8
St. Cloud State 5

According to my recollection it was

Air Force 8
St. Scholastica 4

but according to the TV it was 9-3. it will be interesting to
see the paper tomorrow.

A note for bill, yes Air Force Assistant Coach Tim Hartje is Todd's
older brother, unless he lied to me.

Air Force gave up a goal about 5 minutes in, and then woke up. They
scored 3 in the first period and the game was a walkaway. St.
Scholastica had about 6 shots a period, and air force tripled that.
Air force was clearly better in speed and tenacity. The officiating
seemed ragged at times, but much to air force's favor, although it
didn't make a difference in the outcome. Falcon senior netminder
Mark Liebich got a much deserved rest this week, and junior backup Eric
Leibel did well in this, his second victory of the season. Both teams will
be one man short tomorrow night as there was what was called a fight
although it looked more like a wrestling match to me. This has the
borderline players on Air Force concerned as coach delich was planning on
skating the 5th line and some extra defensemen, but not being able to dress
a replacement for the ousted player leaves things up in the air.
The two teams go at it again tomorrow as part of a triple header. Women's
b-ball at 5, hockey at 7, and mens b-ball at 10. The last game will be on
espn, and i'll probably be there somewhere.
