"Kerry Ellis-Toddington is a solid right-shot defenseman, who
also has
good two-way ability. He is a very fine skater who has the
ability to
make the right play at the right time. Kerry's background is in
the
Saskatchewan Junior League, which is a very demanding league.
He was
one of the premiere defenseman in the SJHL, while playing for
North
          Battleford.

      Mary Ellen and Don Evans

"David Evans is a gifted goal scorer and playmaker. His size
and
creativity will be a welcome addition to our club. He is an
excellent
student and projects to be an impact player as he adjusts to
the speed
and intensity of the college game. David has the ability to
play special
teams and to create a lot of offense. His best assets are his
playmaking
ability and his ability to bury the puck in tight to the net.
His size and
reach will be advantageous to our offensive production."

      ANDREW GIBSON

a solid
Division I goaltender. We expect he will see a lot of ice time
between the
pipes next year. He has a great track record behind him.
Technically he
is very sound. Andrew handles the puck well and plays with
poise under
          fire."

      SHAWN GRANT

"Being a Potsdam native, Shawn Grant is no stranger to
Clarkson. He
has continually improved at every level he has played since he
left
Potsdam High School. He had an outstanding career at Northwood
Prep
(1995-97) and a real strong year with the Cornwall Colts last
season.
Shawn's steady improvement will make him a contender for
playing
          time."

      Barbara and Charles Leutwiler

"Andrew Leutwiler has good potential and will provided us with
added
depth up front. He will battle for a competitive role once he
gets
acclimated to Division I college hockey."

      IAN MANZANO

      Team MVP
Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) 2nd Team All-Star
      Mary and Larry Manzano

"Ian Manzano is a steady, strong, left-shot defenseman. He is a
former
teammate of Aaron Gates, at Dawson College, who has played the
last
couple years in Saskatchewan where he has developed into a fine
two-way defenseman. His creativity is evidence by his MVP
performance
and Best Offensive-Defenseman and Best Defensive-Defenseman
Awards
this year for Nipawin. Ian possess good size and strength and
we think he
will be a steady addition to our club."

Leading Scorer in Central Junior Hockey League (CJHL)
      Debbie and Ron Poapst

"Matt Poapst is a dynamic forward. He plays the off wing and
had great
success in the Central Junior League, leading Brockville to the
CJHL
Championship. Matt is very creative in and around the net and
has the
ability to spot the open man. His brother (John) is playing at
St.
Lawrence. We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with
Matt.
He is a very intelligent and creative player that should add to
our
offense. He has the ability to grind it out in the corners.
Matt is a very
responsible player and an excellent team leader."

=====
