Depends how you feel about having the HOCKEY-L banquet at a
Carl's Jr. :-) Seriously, from my half-dozen or so trips to the
Katella/I-5 section of Anaheim, I don't recall any good banquet sites.
But maybe Scott Q or Margie can suggest something. (Perhaps at one of
the hotels?)

Disneyland! (There's a really cool restaurant inside Pirates
of the Caribbean, although a HOCKEY-L dinner would probably be too
large and noisy to hold there, even if we could get in and out in time
for the late game.) I wonder if they'll offer discount admission for
Frozen Four ticketholders. Both times I went I got a discount for
showing a driver's license with a Southern California address, but the
only one I still have expired a couple of years ago.

Actually, I thought there were some Clippers banners there,
but I may be mistaken. It would be really cool if they made up a
banner for Maine winning the 1995 Great Western Freeze-Out (D1
hockey's only other appearance at the Pond, and in fact my only time
inside the building).

        Unfortunately, I don't believe there's such a thing as a pub
crawl in LA, since driving is the only practical means of
transportation in most of the megalopolis.
