        I have noticed that several folks who post to HOCKEY-L and HOCKEY3 have
equal signs appended to each line.   Others have a long list of headers and
footers on their messages too.
 
        If this problem is happening to you,  and you are using MS Exchange (or
perhaps another MS mailer),  here is what you do.   Go into your personal
address list and uncheck the Rich Text Format box in the properties of the
HOCKEY-L or HOCKEY3 addresses.   Then go into Tools,  Options ...,
 Services,  Properties (Internet mail or whatever),  Message Format,  and
uncheck the box which says "Use MIME when sending messages".
