Hi Anthony, your take on it is like mine.  And after thinking about it,
it  seems to me that Jeff Sauer brought the subject up because if Notre
Dame joins the Big10, then that conference would be activated for D1
hockey.
 
Outside of hockey, I am not sure either if I want ND to join the league
either.  I guess it would be fun to beat ND in football, but Wisconsin
and Notre Dame seem to be renewing their rivalry anyway, at least in the
near future, so who knows.
