I want to know who is saying this, is the league, or is it
comming out on the Internet on places like USCHO. I think this is just
bar room talk. I would say that the WCHA will probably let in one or two
more teams but I doubt there will be any more than that. I personally
talked to Tim Hennesy on the call in sport show last week and from what he
hears there is not going to be East and West division and or lot of teams
getting into the WCHA. I think we may see Mankato and or UNO and from
what I hear UNO is pretty solid money wise but as some one said earlier
SCSU is not going to want to just let someone in after they had to wait a
while. On the flip side I would like to know how UNLV is going to have
time to allow another tennet to play in Connie Mack, they have the
Thunder, the Rebel Basketball. It has a lot of seats for hockey but I
can't see them having NCAA hockey. A regional tounrey yes, but a team I
doubt it. The talent pool is spread out too far now, unless they start
leting junior A hockey talent from Canada play in the NCAA. I don't think
Woog would like it.
