<#7 Princeton @ #4 Brown
Brown holds the edge both offensively and defensively over the Tigers,
using regular season stats. But I think lack of playoff experience may
hurt Brown. Remember, this Princeton team knocked off a highly touted
Vermont team last season on the road. The magic will return. Princeton

Brown and Princeton always seem to play a close and hard game. In 94-95,
Princeton was able to knock off an experienced Brown team that had held the
top spot in the league until the last weekend of the season. This year, Brown,
for the most part has a much younger team. It's their relative youth and
inexperience that had them losing so many games (in which they usually were
winning @ some point) by one goal @ the start of the season. With the switch
of goaltenders from Jeff Holowaty to Scott Stirling, Brown has a lot more
consistency in net. Holowaty is a good goalie, but he tends to get a bit
psyched out by the other team and then faulters. (Which is very much like
Mike Parsons/Brian Audette who played goal during the 94-95 playoff between
Brown and Princeton) Stirling is very acrobatic and can stand his ground. I
don't think his lack of playoff experience is going to matter. With Damian
Prescott and Jimmy Andersson leading the team and Stirling in goal, look for
Brown to take this in two games. (Although I think that they will be both won
by 1 or 2 goals @ the most).
