Eric asks:
Why is Mitch Vig constantly run into the boards by Husky players? first
it was Brad Goulet last year and now Stewart this year.

Two reasons: he's a dirty player and is subject to retaliation, and
secondly, he fakes well along the boards. Though Stewart is the best
checker on the team, there were six players behind the Sioux goal where
the penalty took place, all battling to losen up the puck -- I didn't
see a penalty there, just someone falling down. Sorry Vig cannot take a
hit, maybe his career should end before he gets hurt.

And then Eric adds:
*I think that Matt Henderson showed great poise in coming to the aid of
his team mate Mitch Vig after he was brutaly hit into the boards by
Huskie player Jason Stewart. Matt is definately a team player.

Funny Brad Goulet and Matt Henderson should be mentioned together,
because it was Rice and Henderson that Coach Dean Blaise sent off the
bench to attack Brad Goulet at center ice last year. Team player or team
goon? I met Henderson after last year's game and he's a nice kid who
delivered in the NCAA tournament, but lets not put too much of a shine
on his actions. There is sometimes a thin line between being biased for
your team and lying.

Have people in North Dakota forgotten their hockey tradition? This
picture of the Sioux as a squeeky clean team holds about as much water
as a sieve.
