I guess I stand corrected by a whole lot of people :-) Jeff, I
apologize for my sarcasm, it was a rough night.
Some comments about the Cornell fans...I hope they figure out that
it's one thing to frustrate a team that is losing, but it's another to
anger one that could very well win the series. The last thing we want
tonight is a ticked off Harvard squad invading Lynah, but that's what we're
going to get. What with fish-throwing, booing injured players
(Prestifilippo), and screaming at the coach when he argued with the ref
after a particularly nasty Harvard injury, the Lynah fans could not have
been helping their team's cause. One particularly intelligent fan (sorry,
it's that sarcasm again) threw something (a fish?) at the crimson as they
skated off at the end of the game. If there was any doubt that Harvard was
more than a little upset, it was erased as one player took a baseball swing
at the projectile.
On the other hand, Harvard didn't do much to discourage the fans
when they tried to flip the fish back into the crowd at the start of the
game. I'm not advocating a more passive Lynah crowd, just a smarter one.
