With the New England schoolboy and prep championships underway, it seems
prudent to point out that Chris Warner's New England Hockey Report is a
terrific information resource about upcoming D-I players.
 
The current issue talks about Jeff Jackson's US Elite program, numerous
recruits, a ranking of the top 10th graders, a study of the current D-I
goaltenders, and plenty of other interesting information.
 
If you never have any curiosity about the recruits until Opening Night,
then you'll live without New England Hockey Report.  But if you're
either interested in the NE high school scene for its own sake, or you
want to know what's on the collegiate horizon, you ought to check this
out.  (I, of course, am firmly in the Get-A-Life category and read every
word.)
