The U of MN just signed a rather large deal, some $18 million
with Coca-Cola that gives them the lone right to advertise and serve
beverages at all U of MN functions and at all places on campus.  I heard
part of that money is being used to start the D-1 womens hockey team
here.  I don't forsee the jerseys being red and black though! :).  As for
the Apex deal, I'm not sure why we still have them either, besides the
b-ball team here wears some God-awful Converse apparel so there must not
be an exclusive deal for equipment here.
