John Haussler posted the Hobey selection committee, including
the following, on Info-Hockey-L:
 
>Red Berenson, Univ of Michigan head coach
>Art Berglund, USA Hockey
>Sean Cody, Winnipeg Jets scout
>Jeff Connolly, Boston Herald
>Bob Gaudet, Brown Univ head coach
>Herb Hammond, New York Rangers scout
 
Boston College fans might be a little bit confused ... no Jeff
Connolly did not leave school to become a writer. He turned pro
and is currently languishing in the ECHL. John Connolly, however,
is still the college hockey writer for the Boston Herald and a
member of the Hobey committee.
 
BTW, there are an awful lot of Ivy League ties on the committee -
including Sean Cody, former Princeton assistant, and Herb Hammond,
former Brown head coach ... too bad Brad Konik, Brian Jardine, or
some other Ivy Leaguer won't make the list of finalists.
