LAKE SUPERIOR, MIAMI AND NOTRE DAME EACH WIN TWICE
EIGHT LEAGUE GAMES SCHEDULED FOR UPCOMING WEEKEND
 
ANN ARBOR -- Michigan split at Illinois @ Chicago, winning 5-4 and losing 5-4
(OT), and the Wolverines now lead Bowling Green and Miami each by six points
and Michigan State by eight points.  Lake Superior swept the visiting Falcons
(7-2, 8-2), while the Redskins won twice at Michigan State (3-2 OT, 1-0).
Notre Dame moved five points ahead of Ohio State with a pair of wins (5-1, 4-3)
in South Bend.  Western Michigan defeated the visiting Flames last Tuesday
(February 7) 9-4 with three empty-net goals.
 
Michigan will entertain Bowling Green on Friday at Yost Ice Arena, and Michigan
State on Saturday at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.  Western Michigan visits
Michigan State on Friday, and the Broncos will host the Falcons on Saturday.
Ferris State is at Ohio State for two games, while Lake Superior travels to
Illinois @ Chicago for a pair of games.  Miami plays non-conference at CCHA
affiliate Alaska Fairbanks, the last games for UAF against a CCHA team until
Tuesday, March 7th in the CCHA playoffs.
