I will disagree with Mike on this one.
 
*Unless there has been a change*, BU's 1991 2OT victory over Vermont in the
Auld Lang Syne was considered a tie for NCAA purposes, but was listed as a
W and an L for the two teams in their official records.  So BU got the win,
but the RPI would count it as a tie.
 
 
It may be different now, but that is how I was told by the BU officials that
it was done.
