I've always been puzzled by the NC$$ regulations pertaining to major junior A
hockey participation.  A good explanation and article, along with historical
perspective, was published in the Sept. 28 issue of The Chronicle of Higher
Education.  Check out "A Dilemma for Ice Hockey - Sports Groups Urged to Relax
Rule Barring Participants in Popular League from College Play" on pages A43-44.
