Regarding Mike M.'s question as to how Colorado College could have had a
different strength of schedule in conference games than Minnesota did last
season (assuming the head-to-head meetings are a wash)...
 
WCHA teams do not all play each other four times.  Each team in the league has
two opponents against whom they only play twice.  For example, this coming
season, North Dakota will host Northern Michigan but not travel to Northern;
also, North Dakota will not host Michigan Tech, but will travel to Houghton.
It is then easy to see how conference strengths of schedule could differ.
