I've been out of town for the last several days but wanted to throw out the
following on North Dakota and the NHL draft.  Ryan Johnson, the Philadelphia
Flyers 2nd round choice (36th overall) will attend North Dakota this coming
fall.  Ryan, is the younger brother of former Sioux All-American and current
Detroit Red Wing Greg Johnson and current Sioux forward Corey Johnson.  Ryan
comes to UND from Thunder Bay of the USHL.
 
Also, Colin Forbes, another Sioux recruit for 1994-95, was chosen by the
Flyers in the seventh round.
 
One interesting sidelight to the Johnson saga...Ryan and Greg were taken in
nearly identical scenarios: Ryan by the Flyers in the 2nd round (36th overall)
and Greg by the Flyers in 1989 in the 2nd round (33rd overall).
