** I've heard of this kid, but nothing about college plans, maybe he's only a
junior???  Anyone know more?
 
So my discovery (Clint Johnson) gets drafted in the 5th round, Tony's in the
first.  Guess this is what they're talking about when they say the Minnesota
talent pool is declining.  :-(   Well, this IS supposed to be a down year,
draft-wise.  (Hopefully it's a little better college-wise: two new Gopher
recruits, Joe Pankratz and Mike Crowley, were drafted last year after their
Junior year of HS.)  The buzz both from pro scouts and from Doug Woog is that
there are some very talented underclassmen coming up.
