From "Scud" Hartman's column*** in today's (4/22/94) Star-Tribune:
 
North Dakota has asked permission to talk to Gophers assistant coach Mark
Mazzoleni about the hockey coaching vacancy at the Grand Forks school.
Mazzoleni was also interviewed for the University of Denver job.  Meanwhile, the
rumor in Fargo is that North Dakota State might hire former North Dakota coach
Gino Gasparini if the Bison decide to add Division I hockey.  North Dakota State
athletic director Bob Entzion was quoted in Fargo as saying the school has a
commitment of $400,000 from backers of hockey and is looking to reach $500,000.
after the way Gasparini was treated by North Dakota, it would be great to see
the popular Gino take over the North Dakota State program and teach North Dakota
a good lesson.
