ECAC Hockey Executive Director Joe Bertagna will take a leave of absence
from his ECAC duties to join the 1994 U.S. National team as Media Liaison
and Traveling Secretary. Bertagna, who recently completed his tenth year
with ECAC Hockey, will be away from August 1-March 1, working with Team
USA's pre-Olympic Tour, and staying on through February when the National
Team becomes the 1994 U.S. Olympic Team in Lillehammer, Norway. It is
anticipated the Bertagna's ECAC duties will be shared by individuals on the
ECAC staff and at member institutions.
