The SHORT of it.
These are the last polls (I omitted the East-West split on H-L
which Bill Fenwick posted) and ratings published prior to the 1992-93
playoffs (except for KRACH; I don't know what data was used).
The statistics (Hi, Lo, etc.) are with respect to the Ratings schemas.
The Tchcr-, Rpich-, Chodr- columns are the absolute values of the
differences between these ratings and each of the others.
The tables at the end are the sums of these absolute differences
among the ratings.

The greatest agreement among the ratings was that Maine was 1st
and Darmouth was 34th.
The greatest disagreement was with Northeastern (were they 16th
or 31st?) followed by No Mich (12th-25th), AK-Anch (26th-37th)
and Merrimack (28th-38th)
RPICH was the farthest "out" on Northeastern and No. Michigan
and CHODR was the farthest "out" on Alaska-Anchorage and Merrimack.
I believe there is enough "evidence" here to prove that
YOUR team got the short end of it in both the polls and the
ratings. I wish you better luck next year (flood the ballot
boxes during the season and get to the ratings authors before
Ocotber) - a word to the wise is sufficient.
