In a very entertaining game last night, Elmira held off visiting Canisius, 5-4.
Scoring by periods:
 
               1st     2nd     3rd      F
Elmira          3       2       0       5
Canisius        0       2       2       4
 
Elmira and Canisius came into the game ranked 2nd & 3rd, respectively, in the
ECAC/West.  Look for these two to face each other again in the opening round of
the play-offs.  Meanwhile, Mercyhurst (#1 in ECAC/West) visits Elmira tonight.
Should be quite a contest.
