It was announced here last night that the NCAA had decreed no TV
coverage of the East Regional.  Ticket sales have been so slow that
the organizers have requested a blackout of the games and whoever
is in charge (Kennedy of Cornell acted as spokesman) decided to go
along with it.  Maine supposedly will have a good contingent there;
I don't know what has happened to the support for New Hampshire and
Boston University.  So much for the popularity of college hockey!
